After 24 hours of shopping around the world, the 11.11 Global Shopping Festival of 2018 has finally come to an end. The final tally of Gross Merchandise Value clocked in at RMB213.5 billion (~RM128.4 billion).
Being the biggest 11.11 sale to date, you can expect plenty of other record breaking numbers. Here, we’ll list down all the large numbers achieved by the 10th 11.11 sale.
To start, the GMV hit RMB200 billion (~RM120.3 billion) at 10.28pm. Last year’s record of RMB168.2 billion (~RM101.2 billion) in GMV was broken at 3.49pm.
The total number of deliveries has also hit 1.042 billion at the end of the 24-hour period. At 11.18pm, that number was already at the one billion mark. As for last year’s record of 812 million deliveries, that number was surpassed at 4.48pm.
