It was only five days ago that Xiaomi has unveiled its latest pride and joy in the form of Mi Mix 3 at a launch event in Forbidden Palace, Beijing. Hence, it is rather surprising to see that Xiaomi is already gearing up to bring the new flagship device into Malaysia.
In a media briefing today, Xiaomi has confirmed that the new Mi Mix 3 will indeed be released in Malaysia. However, the company stopped short of revealing its exact release date and pricing for our market.
Despite being quite a tease, Xiaomi do have one good news for Malaysia though. In anticipation for the release of Mi Mix 3, the company will be reducing the price of Mix 3’s predecessor, the Mix 2S from RM 1999 when it was launched back in May to RM 1799.
In fact, some of the Mi Authorized Store is already offering Mix 2S at the new price. Of course, for those who prefer to obtain the newer model, they have to wait for further announcement from Xiaomi regarding Mi Mix 3 imminent arrival in Malaysia.
