Alongside the launch of NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards last week, Acer has announced that the company will be offering Predator Orion gaming desktop systems featuring the new graphics cards very soon. The graphics refresh will be implemented on Orion 9000, Orion 5000, and Orion 3000 systems.
Being the most high-end out of the three models, the Orion 9000 graphics option will be expanded further to cover up to GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. The refreshed model can also be obtained with addressable RGB lighting bars.
As for the Orion 5000, Acer will be offering it with up to GeForce RTX 2080 while the GeForce RTX 2070 will soon become the maximum graphics option for Orion 3000. Depending on respective models, these Orion machines will also include up to Intel Core i9 Extreme Edition 18-cores/36-threads processor.
Meanwhile, the actual release date and pricing for GeForce RTX-based Predator Orion machines depends on respective markets. For Malaysia, such information are yet known for the time being but nevertheless, we’ll keep you updated once we hear more from Acer.
