Shopee just announced the return of its annual shopping event. Dubbed 9.9 Super Shopping Day, it’s a 14-day online sale event that starts from 27 August. The e-commerce site will also be offering up to 99% discounts during the sale period.
From 27 August onwards, each day will have its own theme. On the first day itself, for example, is Super Brands Festival, which offers up to 99% discount on products from brands such as Nestle, Thunder Match, L’Oréal, Watsons, and Elianware. There will also be Flash Sales running on each day.
Personally, I’m most interested with the 28 August theme: Super Electronics Day. Chances are, we’ll see some hefty discounts on smartphones and laptops on that day.
But ultimately, the main event is on 9 September itself, which will see nine rounds of “Shocking Sales.” Shopee promises up to 99% discount on “the most popular products” for these Shocking Sales, and users can also earn discount vouchers on various product categories on that day.
Aside from that, Shopee will “supersize” its Shopee Shake game’s coin pool to 99 million coins as well. To sweeten the deal, it will also open nine new time slots on 9 September with two plays per user. Essentially, you can play up to 18 times on that day. You can then use the Shopee Coins to offset up to 25% off on your purchase – 100 coins entitles you to RM1 discount.
