Back in July, ASUS had told us that the if its ROG Swift PG27UQ gaming monitor were to come to our shores, it wasn’t going to sell for anything less than RM10000. Well, for those looking to own this 4K HDR beast of a monitor, you’ll be happy to know that it has officially arrived on our shores.

The PG27UQ will officially be available at select authorised resellers and stores from 10 August 2018 onwards. If you’re looking to avoid the proverbial crowd, however, you can actually preorder the monitor starting today until the official launch date. Below are the following outlets that you can preorder the monitor at:

  • Activelansing Trading
  • AOne Plus Supplies
  • Brightstar Computer Sdn Bhd
  • C-Zone Sdn Bhd
  • E-Tech Computer Accessories Sdn Bhd
  • Ideal Tech PC Sdn Bhd
  • Micron TM
  • MIT Technology Sdn Bhd
  • P.C. Image
  • Thunder Match Technology Sdn Bhd
  • Topmacro Network Sdn Bhd
  • Topmaid Computer Sdn Bhd
  • Viewnet Computer System Sdn Bhd
  • Araid Technology Sdn Bhd

The ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ is a state-of-the-art 27-inch display. At current, it is one of only two gaming monitors that comes with support for 4K HDR resolution. The PG27UQ also has a refresh rate of 144Hz, along with a 4ms grey-to-grey scale response time. The HDR feature is provided through NVIDIA’s 2nd generation G-Sync module, and the display panel uses Quantum Dot technology.

To add on to the monitor’s premium status, each unit’s colour accuracy is manually calibrated at ASUS’ factory. To ensure that they each meet the DCI-P3 colour gamut used by the brand.
