OPPO is not kidding when the company previously stated that the company’s next smartphone will be launched in Malaysia within this month. Earlier today, we have received the confirmation that the OPPO F9 will receive its official launch in our market on 16 August via a media notification.
At the same time, OPPO has also revealed that the dual rear cameras on F9 will feature 12MP and 2MP sensors. This particular feature joined several other characteristics regarding the phone that OPPO has shared previously.
Among them is the water drop-shaped notch which allows the company to deliver the phone with 90.8% screen to body ratio. To be made available in Twilight Blue, Sunrise Red, and Starry Purple colorways, the F9 is also equipped with OPPO’s proprietary fast charging technology, VOOC Flash Charge which allows the phone to receive 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes of charging.
Even though we already know the F9 would looked like as well as it main features, we still curious about other details regarding the phone such as processor, memory, storage and of course, its price. Given the launch date, we don’t wait long to learn more about such details from OPPO.
