Originally launched at Acer’s massive global launch event in New York earlier this year, the company today has officially unveiled the Predator Helios 300 Special Edition during the official launch of Acer Day 2018 for Malaysia today. As you might know, the main difference between this particular model and the standard Helios 300 variant is its unique white and gold colorway.
As for other part of the gaming laptop, the Predator Helios 300 Special Edition is equipped with 15.6-inch Full HD 144Hz IPS display and powered by Intel Core i7-8750H processor. It also comes standard with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics with 6GB GDDR5 VRAM.
Memory-wise, it features 8GB DDR4 RAM as standard although the laptop itself is able to support up to 32GB of RAM. A 256GB PCIe solid state drive and 1TB 7200rpm hard drive together with 48Whr 4-cell battery complete the general hardware specification for Helios 300 Special Edition.
Each of Helios 300 Special Edition will also be accompanied by a Predator gaming backpack, earphone, and gaming mouse alongside a matching white-colored mousepad. Befitting its “Special Edition” moniker, only 50 units of this laptop will be making their way into Malaysia.
Despite the limited amount, consumers are able to get their hands on Predator Helios 300 Special Edition through all Acer Official Online Stores and authorized Predator Partners throughout Malaysia for RM 6199.
