OPPO earlier today has revealed the finalized launch date for its new F7 smartphone in Malaysia. As per its original announcement few days ago, the launch will indeed take place later this month.
Specifically, OPPO F7 launch event in Malaysia will be happening on 19 April which means that local O-fans and curious smartphone enthusiasts alike don’t have to wait for too long to see the new phone themselves. Prior to our market, the phone has also been launched in India.
In general, the upcoming F7 is designed for selfie lovers just like its predecessor, the F5. Among the phone’s main highlight is its 24MP f/2.0 front camera which has been enhanced with an improved variant of OPPO’s own AI Beauty Technology alongside hardware-based HDR capability.
The phone also features a 16MP f/1.8 rear camera with AI Scene Recognition functionality together with 3400mAh battery. Equipped with a 6.23-inch full HD+ 19:9 IPS display, the F7 is running on MediaTek Helio P60 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
At this moment, OPPO has yet to reveal the actual memory and storage configurations for F7 in Malaysia though. Naturally, we expect this information as well as the phone’s roll out date and pricing to be announced at the company’s launch event on 19 April. So, stay tuned.
