ASUS is bringing its ROG Strix Flare gaming keyboard into Malaysia. The company’s new mechanical keyboard features German-made Cherry MX switches, and also comes built with RGB illumination that is based on ASUS’ Aura Sync LED technology.
The keyboard features 100% anti-ghosting technology and an N-key rollover, ensuring that all keystrokes are registered; even if you were to press down several other keys at the same time.
One little fun aesthetic feature is the inclusion a detachable ROG badge, which lights up when inserted into the notch located at the top right of the keyboard. ASUS will also provide an additional blank insert with the keyboard, allowing gamers to place their own logo and lighting it up.
Like all ASUS products, the ROG Strix Flare also benefits from ASUS’ ROG Armoury II configuration utility software. This software allows gamers to easily create profiles, customise colours and lighting effects, as well as map keys, among other configurations.
Lastly, ASUS offers four Cherry MX RGB switch types; red, blue, brown, and black. While the world will be getting the ROG Strix Flare with the red Cherry MX switches, we’ve been informed that ASUS Malaysia will be bringing in keyboard fitted with blue Cherry MX switches as the standard model.
At the time of writing, ASUS had yet to release an official pricing for the keyboard.
