The ASUS ROG Swift PG27VQ gaming monitor is now officially available in Malaysia, and it’s got a lot of things to shout about. According to ASUS, it’s the world’s most responsive curved gaming monitor, featuring a 1ms response time and a refresh rate that is overclockable to 165Hz.

It is also the world’s first curved gaming monitor to be built with RGB lighting synchronisation, which in this case refers to ASUS’ Aura Sync, as well as customisable ROG Light Signature projection kit.

The gaming monitor measures in at 27″, and has a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (WQHD), with its curvature rated at 1800R; allowing players to max out their gaming experience during long periods of gaming. In terms of colour reproduction, the PG27VQ has a maximum colour gamut of 72% NTSC.

On top of its 165Hz refresh rate, the PG27VQ also has a built-in NVIDIA G-Sync module, allowing the monitor to sync with any NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics card, and thus eliminate screen tearing and minimising display stutters. Furthermore, the monitor will enhance objects in motion and reduce the amount of blurring, thanks to the NVIDIA Ultra Low Motion Blur technology.

For connectivity, the monitor comes with one DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI 1.4 ports, one 3.5mm headphone output, one USB 3.0 port upstreaming, and two USB 3.0 ports for downstreaming.

As mentioned, the ASUS ROG Swift PG27VQ is already available at all authorised resellers and retailers. The gaming monitor has an SRP of RM4,089.
