Sony Interactive Entertainment today has announced that it will be releasing the God of War-themed PlayStation 4 Pro bundle in Malaysia this coming April. While the exact date was not mentioned in the announcement, it should not be far off from the release date of the game itself which will take place on 20 April.
Inspired by Kratos’ own Leviathan Axe, the limited-edition console not only draped in a colorway that SIE dubbed as “Leviathan Gray” but as well as the skill tree and runic gem slots that came directly from the Axe itself. Designed in collaboration with Santa Monica Studio, it also features additional Norse design and representations of each realm in the upcoming game.
At the same time, the console is also accompanied by a DualShock 4 wireless controller with matching colorway. It also features a Huldra Brothers logo which was once again taken from the Leviathan Axe in addition to the God of War logo on the controller’s touchpad.
Aside from the console and controller themselves, the limited-edition package will also include the game itself, additional digital contents, and 3-months PlayStation Plus voucher. Priced at RM 1999, do check with your favorite retailers for its actual in-store release date next month.
