If you have been thinking of spending your ang pow money on a brand new smartphone, Huawei Malaysia has some good news for you. As part of its Chinese New Year Promo, the company is slashing RM400 off the price of the Huawei Mate 10.
Originally retailing for RM2699, Huawei is offering the Mate 10 for just RM2299 for a limited time only. It certainly is a solid price for the phone, especially since its market price hasn’t dropped even though it is several months since it made its debut in Malaysia.
On top of that, Huawei is also bundling a Premium Gift Bundle worth RM239, and a hotel voucher worth RM600 for all three colour options: Black, Champagne Gold, and Mocha Brown. However, Wow Phone is bundling even more, with original premium Huawei accessories worth a total of RM899 (according to the retail page) – and the price of the phone remains at the promotional RM2299 in Black, Champagne Gold, and Mocha Brown.
The Mate 10 offers good value for RM2299. Packed with a Kirin 970 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage, 4000mAh battery and even an AI chipset built in, the Mate 10 even features the same 12MP + 20MP dual camera setup as the Mate 10 Pro.
Speaking of which, the Mate 10 Pro is also available for 12% off its RM3099 retail price. A few retailers have begun offering the Mate 10 Pro for just RM2739 in Shopee, where it is available in both Mocha Brown and Midnight Blue.
