Fashion brands have released quite a number of smartwatches, and the latest brand to do so is Guess. Initially unveiled last year, the Guess Connect Android Wear smartwatch is now in Malaysia.
Aside from the fact that this is a smartwatch from Guess, the Connect is what you’d expect from an Android Wear device. It runs on Android Wear 2.0, it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, and it comes in two sizes: 41mm and 44mm.
Other specifications of the Connect smartwatch include a 390 x 390 AMOLED display, various choice of bracelet material (stainless steel, leather, or silicone), up to 24 hours of battery life, and support for devices running on at least Android 4.3 or iOS 9.
To celebrate the launch of the new Connect smartwatch, Guess is running a number of promotions. If you’re a Celebrity Fitness member, you’re eligible to get 10% discount on the Connect. Non-members, on the other hand, can enjoy a two-week trial at Celebrity Fitness. Note that this promotion will end on 28 February 2018.
The Guess Connect smartwatch retails at RM1,799 in Malaysia, and it is currently available for purchase at selected Guess outlets nationwide. The Connect carries a rather steep price tag for a smartwatch, but it may be justifiable to those who fancy the smartwatch’s design and brand name.
