Lazada’s epic 12/12 sale is just around the corner, but it looks like it has already started the party. It is offering the Huawei Mate 9 Pro for just RM1,999 today – but in extremely limited quantities.
Huawei’s 2016 flagship is still a respectable device. With a dual-curved 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 display, Kirin 960 chip, 6GB RAM, and 128GB of storage, the Mate 9 Pro is still better than most smartphones in the market today. Not to forget, there’s also the Leica dual-camera setup at the rear, which performs impressively.
Today, Lazada has dropped the Mate 9 Pro to just RM1,999 – shaving almost RM400 off the previous low of RM2,389 during the Mycybersale event in October (and RM1,400 off the RM3,399 RRP). But when we say they’re available in extremely limited quantities, we really mean it: there are only two units each for the Titanium Grey and Haze Gold colour options.
Update: Naturally, the RM1,999 Mate 9 Pro have sold out. The current cheapest price we found on Lazada is RM2,299 for Titanium Grey and Haze Gold.
