ASUS Malaysia has announced that its ROG Strix GL553 gaming laptop can now be obtained at a much lower price than before. Positioned as an entry-level ROG gaming laptop, it was released in our market with two different RAM and storage options.
One of them, the GL553V-DDM635T is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 1TB 5400rpm hard drive. As for the second variant which is labeled as GL553V-DDM282T, it comes with 8GB RAM and additional 128GB SATA solid state drive while still retaining the same 1TB hard drive.
As for other parts of the laptop, both variants feature Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 4GB graphics, 15.6-inch full HD display, RGB keyboard, Super-Multi DVD drive, and 48Whr 4-cell battery. They also come standard with 2-year warranty from ASUS Malaysia.
Price-wise, the GL553V-DDM635T now goes for RM 4,199 which is RM 400 less than its original price tag of RM 4,599. Similar price drop also applies for GL553V-DDM282T which can now be obtained at RM 4,599 instead of RM 4,999.
That being said, users are able to get their hands on the laptop at even lower price by utilizing the coupon stated in the image above which provide additional discount of RM 200. However, it can only be used at ASUS Malaysia’s official store on Lazada from 24 to 27 November 2017.
