If you think the iPhone X price is extravagant, this company turns it up to eleven. Caviar from Russia has taken the standard iPhone X and added solar panels and gold-trim to take the phone past premium and into a whole new tax bracket.
The iPhone X Tesla sports a solar panel on the back for charging. According to Caviar, users just need to put the phone solar panel up to start the process. However, the company doesn’t have numbers of how long it will take to hit a full charge. We expect that it will take a lot longer than simply going home and looking for that Lightning cable.
Apart from the solar panel, the phone is also trimmed in 24K gold accents all over the phone, and the aluminum body has been changed to titanium. Otherwise the specs of the phone are the same as the standard iPhone X.
Caviar says that the model was inspired by Elon Musk (or at least that’s the claim on the product page). We assume that this has something to do with the solar panels.
If you have the dough to get one, have your gold credit card ready to swipe. The Caviar iPhone X Tesla will cost you 278,000 Rubles, or about RM 19,899. That is a RM 14,750 premium over the base iPhone X model. Only 99 units will be made available globally.
