The Sony Xperia XZ Premium boasts some respectable hardware, and it’s really quite a capable 2017 flagship despite its rather conventional design. Now, the XZ Premium is going for slightly less in Malaysia, and a new colour variant may be coming too.
On Sony Malaysia’s online store, the Xperia XZ Premium is currently listed at RM3,099 – that’s RM300 worth of discount. On top of that, the “Rosso” variant of the XZ Premium – essentially a red version of the device – is listed on Sony Malaysia’s website as well, suggesting that the new colour could be made available locally.
In terms of hardware, the XZ Premium is quite impressive. It features an eye-catching 5.5-inch 4K HDR display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, the same 19MP Motion Eye rear camera found on the Sony Xperia XZs, a 13MP front-facing shooter, a water-resistant body, as well as a 3,230mAh battery.
Note that the RM300 discount on the Xperia XZ Premium will only apply until 5 November on the company’s online store. On top of that, Sony is also throwing in a transparent case as well as a nano screen protector for the device during the promotion period.
