Oppo’s next smartphone has been revealed thanks to an additional campaign in the Philippines. The Oppo F5 is the company’s first 18:9 smartphone, not to mention it comes with a wealth of selfie-centric features on-board.
Preliminary specs of the Oppo F5 is said to be as follows:
- 6-inch 18:9 screen
- 6GB RAM
- 64GB Onboard Storage
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor
- Possible 16MP Front camera
- Rear-mounted fingerprint scanner
From a video posted on Facebook by ABS-CBN Lifestyle, a full look of the Oppo F5 is shown clearly. The 18:9 display is akin to the LG G6 than the Samsung Galaxy S8 as it is not an edge-to-edge display. Plus, Oppo did not go the dual-camera route with this model.
The last ‘selfie expert’ smartphone from Oppo was the Oppo F1s, which was launched in August last year. It is about time that Oppo update the model, and we may see it pretty soon here in Malaysia.
