Ever since the smartphone was launched in New Delhi last week, the pricing of Xiaomi Mi A1 for Malaysia has been subjected to speculation. While Xiaomi Malaysia has confirmed that the price of Mi A1 will only be officially revealed when the phone is made available for pre-order tonight, it doesn’t stop certain retailers from putting their own price tag online.
Since such listings have been popping up in a great number especially after Xiaomi Malaysia announced the pre-order program, it is hard to pinpoint which of them that actually have the correct price tag. However, when a major retailer such as Thunder Match put this sponsored listing on Facebook, it is hard to ignore anymore:

This is certainly not the first time we saw such pricing for Xiaomi Mi A1 although the first listing with RM 1,099 price tag that we discovered on Lazada Malaysia was removed not long after our previous report was published.
Whether this price tag is real or not, we don’t think it matters anymore especially now that we are just few hours away before Xiaomi officially opens the Mi A1 pre-order in Malaysia. We are quite sure that you will be given ample amount of time to decide whether the official price tag for Mi A1 is worth your consideration or otherwise.
