honor will launch the honor 8 Pro here in Malaysia next month. The company issued a release confirming that the device is set for a July release, although it failed to provide a more specific date.
The honor 8 Pro is the global variant of the China-specific honor V9. It has the same specifications in being a 5.7-inch smartphone powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor and 6GB RAM. Storage comes in the form of 64GB onboard memory with MicroSD card support.
honor originally launched the honor 8 Pro in Europe in April, and it was expected to begin rolling the device out to other major markets soon after. The honor V9 itself is a relatively older device, having been released in China all the way back in February. Despite this, the honor 8 Pro promises to be a solid device for its price tag.
Speaking of which, honor has not supplied us with an expected recommended retail price. We can only guess at this point, although it should end up with a competitive price tag.
