Remember the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition that was launched in Malaysia last year? Well, Samsung just released a similar model in China, but with the Samsung Galaxy S8 now. While last year’s model was inspired by Batman, the new Galaxy S8 variant is a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed device.
Released shortly after the premiere of the latest entry in the film franchise – Salazar’s Revenge – the Galaxy S8 Pirates of the Caribbean Edition comes in a rather fancy packaging. Bundled with the special edition S8 include a phone ring holder, a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed case, and a custom theme.
Aside from these accessories and theme, this edition of the Galaxy S8 is…no different from the regular model. It still comes with 64GB of storage, 4GB of RAM, and more importantly, it looks exactly like the standard Galaxy S8. This is unlike the Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition, which had Batman’s logo engraved on the back glass panel.
That being said, we imagine some fans of the film franchise may be interested to get this Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired Samsung Galaxy S8. For now, it is only available in China for 5,988 Chinese yuan – that comes up to about RM3,755.
