It appears Samsung’s latest flagship Android tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, is now available in Malaysia. Thanks to a local retailer’s online listing, we now know the retail price of the Tab S3 – it’s not an affordable tablet too, which is really expected of a high-end tablet.
On its Facebook page, DirectD revealed that the Galaxy Tab S3 is now available for purchase in Malaysia. Two colours of the tablet are available: Silver and Black. Of course, the S Pen is bundled along with the tablet too.
As far as specifications go, the Galaxy Tab S3 is a well-equipped tablet, albeit its chipset isn’t Qualcomm’s best offering today. The Tab S3 features a 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 Super AMOLED HDR-capable display, a Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a 6,000mAh battery.
Rounding out the specifications of the Tab S3 are a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing shooter, as well as Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The Tab S3 also comes with a four-speaker setup tuned by AKG.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is now available for purchase in Malaysia from DirectD. Retailing at RM2,999, the product’s listing on DirectD’s online store doesn’t show if the tablet’s Keyboard Cover is included. Chances are, it will be a separate purchase.
