Apple and Nike have just announced a new limited edition Apple Watch Series 2. Called NikeLab, it features a Space Grey Watch Series 2 with a Light Bone/Black Nike Sports band, and a NikeLab Innovation x Innovators logo on the side.
Aside from a new band colour, the new Apple Watch Series 2 is exactly the same as the Nike+ that was announced alongside the official Apple Watch Series 2 launch last September. It has “deep integration with the Nike+ Run Club app, making it a perfect running partner that sits on your wrist. Like all Apple Watch Series 2 models, it also has built-in GPS, a brighter display, and a better water resistant design of up to 50 meters compared to the original Apple Watch Series 1.
Unlike existing Apple Watch Nike+, the Apple Watch NikeLab will not be available for purchase at Apple’s online store. To be available from 27 April 2017 onwards, the latest wearable from Apple and Nike will only go on sale at nike.com website, NikeLab doors, and at the Apple Watch Store at Isetan Shinjuku, Japan.
