Announced alongside the Samsung Galaxy S8, Samsung also unveiled the new Samsung Gear VR (2016) with remote controller. We’ve just got our unit and we thought it’d be cool to show you what’s new with Samsung’s new Gear VR headset.
What’s Changed With The Samsung Gear VR?
Not much, really. Upon opening the box you’ll see the Gear VR itself along with a small box that houses the accessories. In the accessories box, there’s the strap holder for the VR headset, a micro USB adapter as well as a strap for the remote controller.
The Samsung Gear VR ( 2016) supports Samsung’s Galaxy S8 smartphone. Other than that, the included micro USB adapter adds further support for older Galaxy devices up till the Galaxy S6 series. Also, there’s now a VR remote controller that adds on to the overall immersiveness.
