MSI Unveils Five Custom GTX 1080 Ti Graphics Cards

Well known PC hardware manufacturer, MSI, has showcased its take on Nvidia’s most powerful gaming graphics card. The company has recently unveiled not one, but five different variants of the GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards.

The first graphics card in MSI’s newest lineup is the GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X 11G. As expected, the graphics card is fitted with the company’s signature Twin Frozr VI cooling solution. Design-wise, the cooler shroud is… red, but it does come with LED elements as well – RGB, of course. According to MSI, the GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X also features TOXR 2.0, which is said to aid the cooling performance of the graphics card.

Unsurprisingly, MSI also has water-cooled variants of the GTX 1080 Ti. These are the GTX 1080 Ti Sea Hawk X and GTX 1080 Ti Sea Hawk EK. Being water-cooled means that both of these graphics cards will feature impressive thermal performance, which should best any air-cooled custom GTX 1080 Tis. It’s worth noting, however, that the GTX 1080 Ti Sea Hawk X is fitted with an AIO (all in one) cooler, while the GTX 1080 Ti Sea Hawk EK comes with a water block instead.

Next up is the MSI GTX 1080 Ti Armor 11G OC graphics card. This graphics card is said to be cooled by the company’s Armor 2X Thermal Design cooling solution, along with TOXR technology as well. Lastly, MSI has also unveiled the GTX 1080 Ti Aero 11G OC, which will most likely be the company’s most affordable custom GTX 1080 Ti variant. Design-wise, this graphics card features the same cooler shroud as the Sea Hawk X, but it ships without an AIO cooler.

Unfortunately, aside from detailing several features of its custom GTX 1080 Tis, MSI made no mention about their key specifications (clock speeds, TDP, etc). Likewise, prices and availability were not stated either.
