Apple might be a long-time collaborator with (RED) but this is the first time that both companies have come together to release (PRODUCT)RED version of iPhone 7 devices.
For those who are not familiar with the concept of (PRODUCT)RED, it is actually a very simple idea: a portion of the profit from the sales of (PRODUCT)RED items are donated to the Global Fund which is an organization that provide financial support to help fight AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria throughout the world.
In other words, consumers are able to contribute to the cause by purchasing (PRODUCT)RED products including the newly announced special edition iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. In Malaysia, they will be made available at the same price tag as per normal colorways:
128GB iPhone 7: RM 3,699
256GB iPhone 7: RM 4,199
128GB iPhone 7 Plus: RM 4,299
256GB iPhone 7 Plus: RM 4,799
Consumer are able to order to starting these new (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus from 24 March onwards at 11:01pm through Apple Store Malaysia.
