Launched back in April 2016, the MasterKeys Pro L was – and still is – one of Cooler Master’s highest-end mechanical keyboards. Now, a limited edition RGB Crystal version of the keyboard has made its way to Malaysia.
Meet the Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro L RGB Crystal Edition. The most significant change to this version of the keyboard is its keycaps. Instead of the usual solid black colour scheme, Cooler Master changed the keycaps to transparent ones, allowing for more light to shine through.
Specification wise, the MasterKeys Pro L is still equipped with Cherry MX switches, but this time it’s only available in MX Blue or Brown. The company has also combined N-key and 6-key rollover, meaning the keyboard can automatically switch to N-key rollover when more than six keys are activated simultaneously. Apart from that, the keyboard also utilises a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor to create macros.
As of this writing, Cooler Master hasn’t announced a Crystal version of the smaller MasterKeys Pro S keyboard yet. The Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro L RGB Crystal mechanical keyboard is now available at selected distributors in Malaysia for RM629.
