As per our report earlier this month, OPPO Malaysia has planned to release the red version of its R9s smartphone into the market in conjunction with the upcoming Valentine’s Day. At the moment, the company didn’t reveal the phone’s release date and price but that changed yesterday as OPPO Malaysia has begun to accept pre-orders for the device.
Even though there are only 2000 units of the R9s Valentine Red Edition available in our market, its price tag remained identical to the existing R9s at RM 1,798. At the same time, customers that pre-order R9s Valentine Red are also able to engrave a message on the back of the phone without any additional costs.
However, the free laser engraving offer is only applicable to online pre-orders. For those who prefer to obtain the smartphone without the engraving, they are still able to pre-order the device at participating OPPO dealers throughout Malaysia.
Alternatively, customers can also wait for the remaining units (if there are leftovers) to be made available at OPPO retailers on 14 February. For more details, head on to OPPO Malaysia’s official website.
