Sony Mobile Malaysia is now offering its Xperia Z5 Premium smartphone for RM 1,999 according to a post that was published on the company’s Facebook page. If you can recall, the phone was originally priced at RM 3,099 when it was launched in our market towards the end of 2015 before it was reduced all the way to RM 2,499 few months later.
Even though it can be considered as an old model since we already now walking towards the end of January 2017, let’s not forget that the Xperia Z5 Premium made its mark in the industry as the first smartphone with a 4K display. In fact, we believe there is no other 4K smartphone in our market at the moment.
Aside from its 5.5-inch UHD Triluminos display, the smartphone also carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage. It also comes with 3,430 mAh battery alongside 23-megapixels Exmor RS rear camera and 5-megapixels Exmor R front camera.
The smartphone is also designed to meet the IP68 rating which means that Xperia Z5 Premium is able to withstand dust as well as being submerged underwater up to a depth of 1.5 meter for 30 minutes. For each purchase of Xperia Z5 Premium, customers will also receive a handy Xperia DK52 charging dock which is valued at RM 139.
