It’s almost Chinese New Year again and Maxis wants to give its users an environmentally friendly celebration. The telco has just introduced new “plantable” ang pow packets that instead of being thrown away at the end of the day, it can be turned into a plant.
The ang pow packets offered by Maxis are made from plantable seed paper. Each packet has a space for you to write your wish or blessing to the receiver. At the end of the celebration, all the receiver need to do is tear or cut the packet into smaller pieces (please remove the content inside first), soak the pieces in water for 2 minutes, cover with a thin layer of soil, water it, make sure it gets sufficient sunlight, then watch it grow.
These special ang pow packets from Maxis is available for free for the first 300 customers who make a purchase at the Maxis Online Store. Alternatively, you can also get it via the MyMaxis app, just download the MyMaxis Deal pass from the app and present it to selected Maxis Centres to redeem your free set of Maxis plantable ang pows.
