As you might have heard, Xiaomi Redmi 4A could be released in Malaysia on 17 January based on the clues posted by Lazada recently. Naturally, the teaser didn’t touch anything regarding the phone’s pricing though but thanks to a tipster, we believe that actual price tag for the Redmi 4A in Malaysia is now out in the open.
The anonymous tip pointed us to a Seremban-based retailer called All In Communication which has begun to take pre-order for the Redmi 4A with official Mi Malaysia warranty through its Shopee store. Priced at RM 449.10, the retailer claimed that the phone will be released to general public on 18 January.
We have also discovered several retailers at other online marketplaces including Lelong and 11street that listed the same RM 449 price tag and 18 January release date. We have also stumbled upon a retailer through Facebook who boldly claimed that it even has the Redmi 4A with official Malaysian warranty in store right now which is rather intriguing.
Given the way we discovered these retailers, it might be wise to take all the information above with a grain of salt. Not to forget, the wait is almost over anyway as the official pricing for Redmi 4A will be revealed by Lazada on 17 January which is just few days away.
