The Oppo R9s has finally arrived in Malaysia. The device retails at RM1,798 but if you do not wish to pay the full retail price, you may now preorder it from Celcom and get the phone from as low as RM399 when you sign up for a contract from the telco.
Available at selected Celcom Blue Cube stores nationwide, the preorder is for those who sign up with a Celcom First postpaid plan. On top of being able to purchase the Oppo R9s from RM399, the preorder will also come with a free Oppo selfie stick worth RM98.
The Oppo R9s was first unveiled in October last year and was officially launched in Malaysia just last week. It is a mid-range Android smartphone, featuring a 5.5” Full HD display, and is powered by a 2.0Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
What makes the Oppo R9s stand out is its camera. The back has a 16MP Sony IMX398 camera with f/1.7 6-element lens, electronic image stabilisation system, and LED flash. The front also has a 16MP camera. Other specs include 3010mAh battery with VOOC fast charging system, fingerprint reader on the home button, and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box with Oppo ColorOS 3.0 UX.
