Dell’s CES 2017 Displays Are Coming To Malaysia Soon: Including The Ultrathin HDR and 8K Monitors

It is barely a week since CES 2017 took place in Las Vegas but Dell has already unveiled the Malaysian release date for some of the new products that it has launched at the event. Following the release of Alienware 13 as well as the refreshed Alienware 15 and 17 gaming laptop last week, a number of new Dell monitors are already on their way to our market from CES 2017.

Leading the list will be the Dell 24 Monitor for Video Conferencing which is also knowns by its model number, P2418HZ. Said to be available for RM 1,199  in “coming days”, this particular display is equipped with 2-megapixels IR camera, privacy shutter, noise-cancelling microphone, and two 5W speakers.

The camera on the display is designed to support facial authentication through Windows Hello while the display’s microphone can be used with Windows 10’s Cortana if users decided to enable the digital assistant.

After that, it will be followed by the Dell 24 Touch Monitor P2418HT which is scheduled to be available in Malaysia by mid-February 2017 for RM 1,599. Built with the support for Windows 10, the display is equipped 10-point touch anti-glare panel alongside a highly-articulated stand with allows a variety of height, tilt, and swivel adjustments.

Starting from mid-March 2017, consumers in Malaysia will be able to get their hands on the newly released Dell InfinityEdge Monitors as well. Said to be the first batch of InfinityEdge monitors for consumers, it will come into our market as the 24-inch S2418H and 27-inch S2718H models.

Equipped with dual 6W external speakers tuned by Waves Maxx Audio, both monitors also able to support HDR10 enabled contents. They will also come with a price tag of RM 699 and RM 1,099 respectively.

Moving on, Dell has also confirmed that one of its main star at CES 2017 – the 27 Ultrathin S2718D monitor – will be making its way into Malaysia by end of March. Comes with HDR10 support just like the previous mentioned InfinityEdge monitors, it also features USB Type-C connectivity and Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution.

Last but not least, another star of Dell’s CES 2017 outing – the UltraSharp 32 Ultra HD 8K UP3218K monitor – will also be made released into our market in April. Designed for professionals, the monitor not only made to output massive amount of details with the help of its resolution but also excellent color performance with 1.07 billion colors alongside 100% Adobe RGB and sRGB coverages.

However, the Malaysian pricing for S2718D and UP3218K have yet to be revealed by Dell at the moment. There are still more new products to come though such as Dell Canvas, XPS 15, Latitude 5285 2-in-1, and more; so, expect to hear more updates from Dell Malaysia very soon.
