With plenty of information regarding them already out in the open including their Malaysian pricing, it was only a matter of time before Samsung made things official. That took place yesterday as the company has finally introduce the brand-new Galaxy A Series line-up for 2017.

Just like their predecessors, the 2017 edition of Galaxy A7, A5, and A3 are equipped with metal body and glass backs. They also feature the same design language as per recent releases from Samsung’s flagship-class Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series which naturally gives the Galaxy A Series (2017) devices premium touch.

As reported before, the Galaxy A Series (2017) smartphones are design for fulfil the IP68 standard which means not only that they are resistant to dust but are also able to last for up to 30 minute under maximum water depth of 1m. This particular feature has also been implemented into the new Galaxy A3, not only just Galaxy A5 and A7.

In terms of specifications, this is how they are fared against each other:

Price-wise, we already know that the 2017 version of Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A5 will go for RM 1,899 and RM 1,699 respectively. Pre-order for both of these devices will start from 6 January onwards while we expect the release information for Galaxy A3 will be revealed at Samsung Mobile Malaysia’s launch event on 5 January.
