U Mobile has announced that the first 100 customers to purchase the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge from its stores will receive a free Samsung Gear VR Lite (worth RM459). The news, which was only recently shared through U Mobile’s social media, does not provide details about packages or plans that include Samsung’s newest flagship smartphone.
Other details about the promotion are also lacking, considering that there is currently no information available on the U Mobile website.
The Galaxy S7 edge promotion from U Mobile begins on 18 March, and the early customers will also receive a complementary one year subscription to U Care Plus 8 – which insures the device for damage costing up to RM1,000.
It should be noted that this is unclear if the promotion is exclusive to U Mobile’s retail stores, or if it extends to the online store as well. As usual, we will keep you updated with any information from U Mobile as it becomes available.
