Celcom and Digi have both announced their latest postpaid plans for the year of 2016. Now, Maxis wants a share of the limelight with its new postpaid plan specifically catered to East Malaysians.

First things first, this plan is only for East Malaysian customers. To be able to sign up for the plans, one must have a billing address in Sabah, Sarawak, or Labuan.

The most affordable postpaid plan  – MaxisONE Plan 68 – consists of 5GB of mobile data, unlimited calls as well as texts to all network for a monthly commitment fee of RM68 a month.

The MaxisONE 98, 128, and 158 plans all have the same unlimited calls and text, with Internet quota of 3GB, 5GB, and 7GB respectively. That being said, those who sign up for the plans (OP98 to OP158) under Zerolution will get bonus 4GB to 5GB of mobile data for free. As for MaxisONE Plan 128 and 158 users, they will be getting unlimited Spotify music streaming, as well as the ability to add two supplementary lines for RM48/line.

To make the plans even sweeter, Maxis is also giving customers unlimited Internet surfing from 1am to 7am daily, although it is subjected to fair usage policy. Don’t worry, the unlimited Internet streaming applies to all MaxisONE plans.

With the introduction of the MaxisONE Plan 68, it is even more affordable than the SurfMore 75 plan, which also gives 5GB data but for RM75 a month. Also, do take note that this offer is only for new subscriptions. This means that existing users are not able to upgrade to these plans, and customers from other telcos cannot MNP in as well.
