DirectD, one of the largest mobile retailers in Malaysia, has listed two new interesting smartphones on its website: the Matte Gold Nexus 6P and the OnePlus X Ceramic, which has a ceramic back instead of glass. The best part is, these smartphones come with official warranties.
When the Nexus 6P was officially released in Malaysia, only the Aluminium and Graphite colour options were available for purchase. The Matte Gold variant, on the other hand, was only introduced in selected markets earlier this year. It’s quite a surprise that Huawei Malaysia decided to officially bring in this variant to our market, although it is only listed on DirectD’s website; both Vmall.my and Lazada do not have the official set of the Matte Gold Nexus 6P listed on their respective sites.
The OnePlus X Ceramic, on the other hand, was also set to be available only in certain countries. OnePlus claimed that there will be only 10,000 units of the OnePlus X Ceramic made, so it’s quite interesting to see it being brought in officially by Brightstar Malaysia. Of course, as the OnePlus X Ceramic is a limited edition run, it is priced higher than its standard variant – which goes for RM1,288 – at RM1,588.
