As promised, ASUS today has officially launched its new ZenFone Zoom in Malaysia. The retail availability of the new photography-oriented smartphone will be taking place later this month.
In terms of pricing, the ZenFone Zoom will be listed at RM 2,099. From the information we have in our hand right now, the Malaysian variant will carry 128GB internal storage and 4GB RAM.
Built with 3x optical zoom together with a special 10-elements lens developed by Hoya, its rear camera is certainly the main feature of ZenFone Zoom. It is also equipped with 13-megapixels sensor, laser auto-focus system, optical image stabilization, and multi-mode PixelMaster photo enhancements.
Other than that, the ZenFone Zoom is also equipped with 5.5-inch full HD IPS display that has a pixel density of 403 ppi alongside 4GB of RAM, and 3,000 mAh battery. Not to forget, the 128GB variant also comes with 2.5GHz Intel Atom Z3590 processor.
