Maxis is Offering Free Roaming Pass when You Book a Hotel Room on Expedia

Planning a holiday in the near future? If you are a Maxis user, you might want to book a hotel on Expedia because the telco will offer you free data roaming when you do so. Maxis has partnered with Expedia, one of the world’s largest full-service online travel site to offer this first-of-its-kind promotion.

All you need to do is book a hotel via www.expedia.com.my/maxisroaming., and Maxis will grant you a free 1-day roaming pass. Of course, the destination of hotel stay must be within the telco’s wide network of 117 roaming-pass enabled countries.

Maxis Offering Free Data Roaming when you book a hotel on expedia

The free 1-day roaming pass offer includes:

  1. MaxisONE World Pass

– Exclusively for MaxisONE plan (MOP) customers who make a hotel booking in any of the ASEAN countries (except for Vietnam).

– With this pass, customers not only get free unlimited outgoing calls, free unlimited incoming calls, they also get to use their local data overseas for free, on top of an additional free 500MB of high-speed data per day.

  1. DataRoam Pass

– Applicable for MOP customers who make a hotel booking in countries outside of ASEAN.

– Applicable for non-MOP postpaid customers who make a hotel booking

– This pass comes with up to 500MB of high-speed data. Customers can also continue to surf or use social chat apps after their allocated data has been fully utilised.

Do note that you must make your booking via this link (www.expedia.com.my/maxisroaming) and key in your Maxis number when making the booking. Once done, just turn on data roaming when you travel and you will enjoy your free roaming within the hotel stay period and Maxis will waive your first-day roaming charge of RM38.
