There’s a lot to cover this week, starting with the Nintendo Switch announcement. Andrew and Farhan have a long debate about why we should (or shouldn’t) be excited for the console; with neither willing to back down from his position.
We also retread our discussion about the PlayStation VR from Episode 1 of the Tech Tarik Show. The headset turned up in the office for review, and we go over our experience with the games supplied on the demo disc; as well as avoid Batman Arkham VR spoilers for Pang’s sake.
Digi’s new EasyUp smartphone upgrade service gets a spotlight as we return to more serious matters as we examine this new phenomenon. We also wonder if Digi will expand the number of devices available to the EasyUp service.
Finally, we conclude the episode by discussing the government’s 2017 budget announcement. Particularly about the plans to double internet speeds without any price increase next year. Can it be done? Will we end up saying something we regret?
