If you’ve been waiting for Asus’ latest and greatest flagship smartphone, the wait is over: the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe is now available for pre-order in Malaysia. Oddly enough, only the base model is currently up for pre-order; it appears the highest-end model with a Snapdragon 821 processor is not available yet.
On Asus Malaysia’s online store, only one variant of the ZenFone 3 Deluxe is available for pre-order: the RM2,599 base model with a Snapdragon 820 processor. Chances are, the higher-end RM3,299 variant with a slightly faster Snapdragon 821 chipset will be available for purchase sometime in the future; we have reached out to Asus Malaysia regarding this.
In terms of specification, the base model of the ZenFone 3 Deluxe is still plenty capable. It features a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage – expandable with a microSD card – as well as a 3,000mAh battery. In the camera department, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe is packed with a 23MP rear camera with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP front-facing shooter.
