After introducing two new plans for heavy data users, redONE is now targeting those who call a lot. The telco recently introduced Voice 48, the “lowest postpaid unlimited talk plan in Malaysia”.
For only RM48 a month, you get unlimited calls to all mobile numbers. It comes with a six months contract, and SMS are charged at 5sen/SMS to redONE numbers and 10sen/SMS to all other networks. Since this is a talk plan, RM48 does not come with any data so if you would like to stay connected online, you will need to subscribe for a monthly recurring data bundle add-on starting from RM20 for 1GB.
Do note that the unlimited calls are available for mobile numbers only. This means that not only will you get charged for calling special numbers and 1-800 numbers, you will also need to pay for calls to fixed lines (i.e. 03 numbers). Calls to fixed lines are charged at 15sen/minute. The unlimited voice calls to mobile numbers are applicable for local usage only.
