UPDATE: Asus has informed us of a mistake in the RRP written in the press release. The correct price is RM5,999, instead of RM5,099 as written earlier.

Asus has announced the availability of its 34-inch ROG Swift PG348Q ultra-wide curved monitor in Malaysia. Asus’ Swift PG348Q gaming monitor comes with plenty of features that makes it rather tempting for PC gamers who can afford it.

Asus’ ROG Swift PG348Q gaming monitor is fitted with a 34-inch curved panel with IPS display and Nvidia’s G-Sync technology. Like most ultra-wide gaming monitors in the market, the Swift PG348Q has a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 (21:9), making it ideal for FPS and MOBA games. According to Asus, this monitor has a response time of 5ms as well as a relatively uncommon 100Hz refresh rate.ROG Swift PG348QAsus’ ROG Swift PG348Q gaming monitor is also fitted with a base stand that is covered with LEDs. These LEDs will beam the ROG logo onto one’s desk. The brightness setting of the logo projection can be altered or turned off – gladly. It’s also worth mentioning the fact that the Swift PG348Q is rather heavy for a monitor: 11.1kg. The base legs of the gaming monitor is also rather wide, stretching as far as 297mm.

Connectivity-wise, Asus has fitted its ROG Swift PG348Q gaming monitor with one DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 ports along with four USB 3 ports as well.

The Asus ROG Swift PG348Q gaming monitor has been made available in Malaysia and comes with a modest price tag of RM5,999. More information regarding this gaming monitor can be found here.
