If you are still looking for online streams to catch the final match for badminton’s mixed doubles at Olympics Rio 2016 later today which will be involving Malaysian pair Goh Liu Ying and Chan Peng Soon, we have a great news for you: Astro has decided to broadcast the match on YouTube. Yes, you are reading that correctly – the historic match will be shown on YouTube!
Not only that, Malaysians also able to choose to watch it either with Bahasa Malaysia or English commentary. All they need to do is visit Astro Arena’s channel for Bahasa Malaysia and Stadium Astro’s channel for English starting from 10:30pm tonight.
Later this week, Astro will also be showing the men’s doubles finals which involves another Malaysian pair, Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong. Similarly, the broadcast will take place at both Astro Arena and Stadium Astro YouTube channels on 19 August at 10:50pm.
