Joining in the mobile Pascal GPU bandwagon is Asus with its updated lineup of ROG gaming notebooks. These are the ROG GX800, G800, G752VS, G752M, Strix GL502VS, and GL502VM – all of which are fitted with Nvidia’s latest 10-series GPUs. Of course, being equipped with powerful graphics cards mean that all of Asus’ upcoming gaming laptops can be considered VR Ready.

The most powerful laptop of the six is the Asus ROG GX800, which the company claims to be the “world’s first 18-inch real 4K UHD gaming laptop”. This gaming notebook was first spotted back in May, during Computex 2016. That aside, what makes this gaming laptop rather interesting is the fact that it comes with not one, but two GTX 1080 GPUs – making its performance far superior compared to the older ROG GX700 notebook.

Other specifications of the Asus ROG GX800 include a 4K display, an unspecified sixth generation Intel K processor, as well as configurations for up to 64GB of RAM. Similar to the GX700, Asus’ GX800 is a liquid-cooled gaming laptop that features the company’s “Hydro Overclocking System” which allows the notebook to be overclocked vigorously. Likewise, the specifications of the ROG G800 notebook is almost similar to the GX800, but with a single GPU configuration instead.

Next up, are the Asus ROG G752VS and G752VM. The former features a mobile GTX 1070 GPU, while the latter features the less powerful mobile GTX 1060 GPU. Interestingly, the ROG G752VS notebook features an unlocked sixth generation Core i7 processor along with options to fit it with up to 64GB of RAM. In addition, this gaming laptop also features a 120Hz display that is said to have viewing angles of up to 178°. Meanwhile, the ROG G752VM features a slightly less powerful Nvidia mobile GPU: GTX 1060. This gaming laptop comes with a Core i7 processor (locked) along with configurations for 64GB of RAM.

Last but not least are the Asus ROG Strix GL502VS and GL502VM gaming notebooks, which are the company’s lightest Pascal-equipped gaming notebooks. Both laptops are equipped with Intel’s latest 6th generation Core i7 processor along with a 15-inch display. Asus’ GL502VS is equipped with the mobile GTX 1070 GPU, while the GL502VM is fitted with a mobile GTX 1060 GPU instead.

Unfortunately, aside from the official announcement, no price and date of availability was given during the time of writing. However, do expect the company to announce both details very soon.
