Digi today has officially introduced its new Prepaid Live pack which comes preloaded with 8GB worth of data specifically for music and video streaming. Accessible through its 3G, LTE, and LTE-A network, this 8GB data quota is available to customers as long as they stay active with the telco.
However, the free data is provided to users in stages. Specifically, users will receive 1GB of data for music and another 1GB for video on weekly basis. So in general, the DiGi Prepaid Live provides 4GB of music and 4GB of video quota which formed the full 8GB quota that we mentioned earlier.
At the same time, Digi Prepaid Live customers also receive additional 1GB and 4GB of streaming data quota with their weekly and monthly Mobile Internet add-on respectively. As expected, the streaming quota only applies to Digi’s Music Freedom and Video Freedom partners which include Spotify, iflix, and more.
Nevertheless, the 8GB streaming quota is given on top of customers’ existing data quota which mean it doesn’t affect user’s general data pool (based on their weekly or monthly Mobile Internet top-up) unless the streaming quota has been depleted. Additionally, Digi Prepaid Live customers also receive 100GB worth of cloud storage on Digi’s own Capture service.
Not to forget, they also able to make unlimited calls and send unlimited SMSes to three selected Digi friends. The new Digi Prepaid Live pack is available from today onwards for RM 12 inclusive of GST and comes with 300MB of free Internet that is valid for 7 days.
