As you might be able to recall, Acer has launched plenty of new products at its global press briefing in New York recently which include the brand new Switch Alpha 12 2-in-1 laptop. The new device made its way into the headline not only because of its Surface-like design but also the fanless, liquid-cooled thermal solution called Liquidloop that Acer has implemented into it.
Officially announced for our market at Acer Malaysia’s on-going launch event, the Switch Alpha 12 also carries 12-inch QHD (2,160 x 1,440) IPS touch display that is also designed for Acer’s own Active Stylus. Said to come with a battery life of up to 8 hours, the device also features USB 3.1 Type-C port which supports data and power as well as external display.
In terms of pricing, the Switch Alpha 12 with 2.3GHz Intel Core i3-6100 processor, 4GB RAM, and 128GB solid state drive goes for RM 2,499 while the model featuring 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-6200U, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD is priced at RM 3,499. Both of these models also comes standard with Windows 10 Home.
Not to forget, the highest end model for our market is equipped with 2.5GHz Intel Core i7-6500U processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and Windows 10 Pro for RM 4,499. For further details, head on to Acer Malaysia’s official Facebook page.
