Even though the service might already available for consumers since earlier this month, it is only today that Celcom has officially launched its brand new Home Broadband service. Riding on TM’s HSBB infrastructure, the service is currently limited to customers within Klang Valley.
In general, the information that Celcom has unveiled regarding the service are equal to the information that we’ve seen before which has also been displayed at BlueCube branches for the past few weeks. That being said, the 50% discount for customer’s first six months’ bills has now been extended to the subscribers of the newly launched First Platinum postpaid plan.

Meanwhile, the company’s Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer, Zalman Aefendy has confirmed that the telco will not only expand its Home Broadband service to other parts of Malaysia but will also offer faster speed in the near future. However, not exact timeline was revealed at today’s press event.
