We’ve received an invitation by MSI Malaysia to attend a grand opening of an “MSI Store” at Low Yat Plaza in January next year. Speculatively, we think that the MSI Store might actually be an official retail store by MSI. If so, then the “official” retail store would be MSI’s first in Malaysia.
Currently, MSI is distributing its products in Malaysia mainly through third party retailers and online stores. If this were to be an official MSI retail store, MSI fans in Malaysia will be able to purchase products directly from MSI with benefits such as easy purchasing of replacement parts as well as warranty claims.
However, it still remains unclear to us whether or not the MSI Store is operated directly by MSI Malaysia or a third party retailer. Unfortunately, we cannot provide further details regarding the MSI Store for now. Stay tuned as we will be providing more information about the MSI Store after attending the grand opening next year.
