Hotlink has introduced the Monster Video Pass for its customers who love streaming videos on-the-go. The pass grants its users additional mobile data quota specifically for use on YouTube, on top of the original mobile data purchased.
For a fee of RM5, customers will get 500MB of mobile data quota. Besides that, there’s another pass that costs RM8 which gives the user the same 500MB of data, with an additional 1GB that is only usable on YouTube. Those interested need to take note that these passes only have a one-day validity period.
To purchase the Monster Video Pass, dial *100*2*3*1# for the 500MB plan, or dial *100*2*3*2# for the 1.5GB plan. Upon successful purchase, customers will receive a confirmation SMS. Hotlink’s Monster Video Pass can also be purchased via the Hotlink RED app on iOS and Android. First, go to “My Hotlink”, select “Internet” then choose “Box of surprises”. From there, select and purchase the desired pass, and start streaming.
Those who stream a lot of videos from YouTube on their phones would definitely be interested in Hotlink’s Monster Video Pass. That being said, customers should take note that the Monster Video Pass is only available for purchase until the 4th of January 2016.
